We thought to celebrate this day, we would take you back to where it all began…

 

You probably know our wonderful founder, Diana. Initially, the idea for a baking business came from her daughters’ love for ultra fancy cupcakes, however cupcakes make too much mess! Back in 2017, Diana taught her girls to make shortbread instead and the recipe was a success - they made their first sale that very day.     

After selling yummy shortbread to family and friends, Diana launched The Shortbread Company and never looked back. The orders got bigger and the flavours became more mouthwatering. There were huge corporate orders, lavish wedding bashes and an irresistible subscription service - the business has continued to thrive.
